Crane & Crown is a proposed high-touch introduction agency for people in the UK and East Africa who are genuinely seeking marriage — men and women, in both directions, across every heritage and community. Every member is interviewed, identity-verified and single-status checked before a single introduction is made.
That is the standard this service is being built around: patient, deliberate, lifelong partnership. Not swipes, not chat rooms, not promises about paperwork.
Honesty first
Cross-border matchmaking has a poor reputation because too many services promise everything and verify nothing. We intend to do the opposite.
A vetted introduction agency. Every member — in the UK and in Uganda — is interviewed, identity-verified and confirmed single before joining.
Matchmaker-led. Introductions are curated by people, not algorithms, based on genuine compatibility and stated intentions.
A guide through the realities. We advise honestly on the cultural, practical and financial realities of a UK–East Africa relationship, and we facilitate safe, supported first meetings on the ground.
Not a visa or immigration service. We do not give immigration advice, arrange visas, or make any promise about relocation to the UK or anywhere else. Where a couple's future takes them is entirely their own affair, handled with official sources and properly regulated advisers.
Not a dating app. No open browsing, no anonymous messaging, no unverified profiles.
Not a broker. No member ever pays, or is paid by, another member. Marriage is never a condition, a product or a guarantee.
The vetting standard
Every East African member meets our team face to face — beginning in Entebbe and Kampala, with partner locations across the region. Every UK member completes a live video interview.
National ID or passport checked and matched to live photo verification. No pseudonyms, no borrowed photographs.
Declared and documented marital status for every member, with registry checks where records allow.
Members sign a code of conduct: respect, honesty, no requests for money — with removal for any breach.

People in the UK who are serious about finding a husband or wife, tired of apps and anonymous international sites, and willing to be vetted to the same standard they'd expect of anyone introduced to them.
You'll be interviewed, verified, and matched deliberately — whether you're seeking a wife in Kampala or a husband in Nairobi. When the time is right, we help arrange safe, well-supported visits to meet in person.
East Africa
Men and women across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and the wider region who want a serious, respectful marriage — and a service that protects them: verified members only, no strangers with hidden histories, no anonymous chat, and a team on the ground they can reach at any point.
Membership is free for East African members. You will never be asked to pay, and you will never be pressured.
Every heritage · Every community
Britain and East Africa share more than history — they share families. From the British Asian communities whose roots run through Kampala, Nairobi, Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, to the East African diaspora across the UK, many of our members will belong to both worlds already.
We match with genuine respect for what matters to you: faith, community, language, family involvement and tradition. Where a family wishes to be part of the process — as is customary in many communities — we welcome it.
Plain truths
Distance is real work. A relationship across 6,500 kilometres takes patience, money for travel, and months of genuine effort. Anyone promising shortcuts is selling something else.
Immigration is your own affair. We give no immigration advice and make no representations about visas, settlement or relocation. Couples considering a future in the UK, Uganda or anywhere else should consult official government sources and regulated advisers directly.
Money never moves between members. If anyone you meet through this service asks you for money — in either direction — report it to us and we will act immediately.
Culture takes learning, both ways. We prepare members honestly for the differences — family expectations, faith, finances, food, humour — because good marriages are built on understanding, not surprise.
